Last week I and some friends of mine travel to Orlando. We went to a party and had a ball. I was selected to sing at the party. I rehearsed two songs just in case. When I got there I found out Iwas so out of touch. The DJ did not have a cassette player. I was going to sing Pride n-Joy by Marvin and Summertime. I changed the songs at the last minute. I did my songs and brought my bongos down from the stage. As I past the food table, with chicken, beans, and meatballs, there was a guy asking me to come here. As I stand in front of Victor he says your bongos' skins are gone. I looked at him with a stare. He then said you need to tighten up your bongos when you play. Again, I looked at him with a stare. I learned something that night. I've been playing my instrument flat. I a beginner bongos player, but Victor taught me other things. Since that conversation I watch Sheila E and Tito Puento and watched. Victor told me to feel the music inside me.
Victor thank you very much. Victor plays all percussion instruments.
